SLA 3D Printing & Resin 3D Printing Services
High-resolution SLA 3D printing and resin 3D printing for parts that need a smooth-surface finish and fine detail invisible to FDM. Forge Labs runs calibrated SLA systems with 50-micron layers across a full library of engineering and specialist resins — from detailed visual prototypes and display models to castable jewellery patterns and bio-compatible dental work.
Typical projects start from $500+ · Engineering & business enquiries welcome · Upload CAD, STEP & STL files for review

Why Forge Labs
Why teams choose SLA at Forge Labs
High-detail, isotropic resin parts with the right resin selected for every job.
50-Micron Layer Detail
SLA resin prints in 25–100 micron layers — fine enough to capture text, logos and surface texture invisible to FDM.
Ultra-Smooth Finish
Isotropic surface quality straight off the build platform. Minimal post-processing for visual prototypes and master patterns.
Engineering Resins
Tough, Durable, High-Temp, Flexible, Castable and Bio-Compatible-rated resins for functional and specialist parts.
Castable for Investment
Burn-out clean castable resins for jewellery, dental and intricate metal pattern work.
Tight Tolerances
±0.05–0.15 mm achievable on small parts, with feature resolution down to 0.2 mm.
Our Workflow
From file to fully-cured SLA part
Submit your CAD
STL or STEP file uploaded via our quote form. Sketches and reference photos are also welcome.
Resin & layer selection
We recommend the right resin and layer height based on detail, mechanical needs and finish requirements.
Print & UV cure
Parts are printed on calibrated SLA systems, washed in IPA, then UV post-cured for full mechanical strength.
Finish & dispatch
Supports removed, sanded, painted or clear-coated to spec. QC checked and shipped Australia-wide.

What we deliver
High-resolution resin 3D printing, calibrated for production
Resin 3D printing · 50-micron layers · UV post-cure · Engineering and specialist resins
SLA stereolithography uses a UV laser or LCD light source to cure liquid photopolymer resin layer by layer. The result is a near-isotropic part with surface quality that no extrusion process can match. Forge Labs runs a calibrated SLA fleet, automated wash stations and a UV post-cure chamber — so every part leaves the workshop fully cured to its rated mechanical properties, not just dry to the touch.
- 25 to 100 micron layer heights for visual or speed-optimised prints
- Standard, Tough, Durable, High-Temp, Flexible, Clear, Castable and Bio-Compatible resins
- Automated IPA wash and UV post-cure for full mechanical strength
- In-house sanding, priming, painting and clear-coating
- Castable resin support for jewellery and dental investment casting
- Free DFM review on every order — orientation, supports, resin choice
